Are you ready to solve a murder?

Thank you for purchasing tickets to attend our 5th annual event. We are excited to put the FUN in fundraising for our local charity. Oaklands Mansion, 900 N Maney Ave, will be a beautiful backdrop for our event.  We wanted to provide you with some important information regarding the event and hopefully answer any questions you may have.

We will have a registration table where you will check in and receive everything you need for the night. Have your emailed ticket with the QR code ready. The event will start at 6 pm with check-in. and we will all gather on the front lawn to begin introducing our characters and sponsors at approximately 6:30 pm.  VIP GUESTS, your arrival time is at 5:00 pm. BE PREPARED TO SHOW YOUR PHOTO ID

PARKING
We are providing complimentary valet parking for our guests. The Parking Company, licensed and bonded, will be there to park your car safely and return it to you at the end of the event. Please come to the entrance of the Oaklands Mansion and follow directions there for valet.  VIP guests will be arriving earlier, at 5 pm, so congestion at the Valet should not be an issue.
If you choose to self-park, note the parking at the mansion itself is for characters and staff.  You will need to park at the Oaklands Park, noted with a P in the image below. You can self-park and walk through the yard at Oaklands to join us.

Valet will be on the driveway, right in front of the mansion. Self parking is marked with the P and there will be signs to direct you
ATTIRE
There is no dress code for our event.  Our characters will be dressed to kill, that is for sure, and the story is set in the 20-40 era, so get creative!  You are welcome to dress as your favorite CLUE Character OR as a detective, if you want.  We will have a costume contest for our guests with a $50 prize! Two lucky guests will win. We cannot wait to see you all!

YOUR TICKET
  • Your General Admission Ticket includes entrance to the event, complimentary valet, appetizers, TWO drink tickets and ONE guess card.
  • Your VIP Ticket includes entrance to the event, complimentary valet, appetizers, FOUR drink tickets and TWO guess cards. 
We will offer a Cedar Glade Brews draft beer, a white wine, a red wine and a special vodka cocktail called "The Whodunit." We will have coke, diet coke, sprite and water for non-alcoholic options. You can buy more drink tickets at our "Guesses Table" for $5 each or 5 for $20. Our bartenders are donating their time for the fundraiser, so be sure to bring some cash to tip them well! They will also have a Venmo code to scan.
You can also buy more guesses the evening of for $5 each or 5 for $20 (cash or venmo). If you get stuck, you can buy a clue at the guesses table. There will be a $25 clue, $50 clue and $100 clue.

SOLVE THE MURDER
We have released the backstory, character bios and evidence through our event page on Facebook and it will be in the program at the event.  If you want to freshen up on the story before you arrive, go to our website BoroClueParty.com You will wander about the mansion and interview the characters for clues to who the murderer is, what room it happened and what weapon was used. There will be clues throughout the mansion for you to find, all are marked with yellow evidence tents. Pay attention to the clues!

PLEASE NOTE: The mansion is a historic site.  We are only allowed to have clear based liquids in the mansion, in case of spills, so NO RED WINE IN THE BUILDING. There are authentic artifacts throughout the mansion as well, so be sure not to touch anything, lean on older pieces or sit on older furniture.  There will be a few chairs throughout the mansion that are free to sit on and they will stand out from the rest.  If you wonder if it is safe to sit on, it probably isn't! We have cocktail tables in and out of the mansion to set your drink on and take notes. There are also tables and chairs outside on the lawn for you to sit and ponder the murder. Thank you for helping us maintain the integrity of our beloved mansion. 

The weather will be chilly so be prepared. We will be spread out all over the mansion grounds, which includes the front lawn, so comfortable shoes are suggested. If you have any other questions, please reply and ask.  We are excited about seeing you all at the 4th annual event. See you on the 14th!
